Abstract: This article explains the concept of bio-industry competitiveness, on this basis analyzes the development status of bio-industry and the existing problems. According to the characteristics of the biotechnology industry and Porter's industry competition theory, the determinants of bio-industry competitiveness and the condition and problems of China's industrial development are analyzed and the economic strategies and measures are pointed out.
