试述功能文体学视角下赋体文学翻译之文体特点再现

摘要:中国古代赋体文学有着鲜明的文体特点。将其翻译成英文,这些特点理应得到再现。然而,能否在英译中再现这些文体特点,却是一个有待探讨的不足。探讨赋体文学的文体特点能否在英译中再现,必须先清楚了解赋体文学到底有哪些文体特点。由此,本论文首先在现有探讨的基础上,总结浅析了古代赋体文学在语音、词汇、句法和小句四个层面的文体特点。在语音层面上,赋体文学作品多用三大节奏型,即交替、均衡和单音+均衡节奏型,少用不规则节奏,多用尾韵。其中,三大节奏型和尾韵使得小句的衔接紧密,层次分明,读起来朗朗上口。而不规则节奏多用于直接引语,使直接引语显得更自然,更生动。在词汇层面上,赋体文学常出现不同词汇集的词汇组成词组和虚词。不同词汇集的词汇所组成的词组,使表达变得更生动。而用在句中的虚词则能有效地稀释实词密集度,缓解阅读压力;用在句末的虚词则一般为语助词,有抒情的作用。在句法层面上,赋体文学中的小句主语常被省略。并且,小句常被置于排比结构中。主语省略使得各小句所描绘的意象相互融合,而排比结构以自然的方式衔接各小句。在小句层面,小句常被用来反映物质和联系历程。大量利用反映动态物质历程和静态联系历程的小句,会产生比较效果。在以上浅析的基础上,本论文提出了在赋体文学英译中再现这些文体特点的原则,即忠实原则,并诠释了理由。在这个原则的指导下,本论文对翻译中再现这些文体特点进行了可行性浅析,浅析的结果是,在翻译中,赋体文学的三种主要节奏型、尾韵、不同词汇集词汇所组成的词组、排比小句以及物质、联系历程小句都能得以再现,而小句中的主语省略可部分再现,不规则节奏则无法再现,但可在译文中由别的语言方式来实现其部分功能。此外,小句中和小句尾虚词不太可能再现,亦无法由其它语言方式来实现其功能。由此可见,赋体文学大部分的文体特点都有可能在英语译文中得到再现。关键词:赋体文学论文文体特点论文再现论文
