阐述翻译以关联角度看儿童文学翻译库

摘要:儿童文学翻译虽然是文学翻译的一个组成部分,但因为其读者的特殊性而成为了一个重要却又未引起人们重视的一部分。由于儿童有限的认知能力和中西文化的差别,儿童文学翻译对译者来说是一项极具挑战性的工作。作为译者,首先必须相当了解儿童,了解儿童文学,由此本论文以儿童文学为主题,以关联论述视角对儿童文学翻译进行探讨.关联论述是由Sperber和Wilson(1986)提出的近年来备受瞩目的认知语用学论述,它以认知的角度揭示了人类语言交际是一个明示-推理的历程。关联论述认为人类有寻求关联的本能,关联的程度取决于话语所具有的语境效果和处理话语时所付出的努力这两个因素。在交际历程中,交际双方都力求达到最佳关联,即通过付出最小的处理努力达到最大的语境效果。Gutt(1991)运用关联论述对翻译进行了专门探讨,进一步进展了关联论述,提出了一些颇有见解的观点,比如翻译是语言的诠释性运用,并在此基础上提出了直接翻译和间接翻译两种翻译策略。这样一来,关联论述在翻译中的指导作用就应运而生了。本论文以关联论述及格特关联翻译论述为指导,通过对儿童文学翻译的实例进行比较和浅析,总结归纳了译者在儿童文学翻译中应如何做,采取什么样的翻译对策才能确保目标语言能被译文读者理解和接受,使得译文达到最佳关联。首先探讨了译者如何在儿童文学翻译历程中对作者的意图进行正确的推理,如何将作者的意图明示给读者,如何在翻译历程中追求最佳关联。然后浅析了如何将格特的直接翻译和间接翻译策略运用于儿童文学翻译实践。关键词:儿童文学翻译论文关联论述论文最佳关联论文直接翻译论文间接翻译论文
