对于操纵操纵视角下《简·爱》两个中译本文化再现比较封面

摘要:《简·爱》是十九世纪英国女小说家夏洛特·勃朗特的代表作之一。本论文将以勒弗维尔的操纵论述为框架,以社会文化的角度比较浅析《简·爱》的两个中译本,探究导致译本差别的深层理由,帮助人们进一步认识翻译的特点和实质。作为翻译文化学派的重要代表人物之一,勒弗维尔将翻译活动纳入了文化系统探讨。他的“三要素”论述,即意识形态,诗学和赞助人是影响翻译的重要因素,对译者在翻译文本的选择和翻译对策的选择上产生了很大的影响。不同的译者,所处的时代不同,便会有不同的意识形态倾向,受到不同主流诗学和赞助人的制约,产生符合时代要求的译本。由此,翻译是对特定时期特定文学作品的一种文化再现。作者首先介绍了用操纵论述指导译本探讨的目的和作用,以及在众多译本中选择李霁野译本和黄源深译本的理由。然后探讨了操纵论述的由来,“三要素”的定义以及它们对译者和不同环境中翻译活动所造成的影响。接下来以意识形态的角度对两个译本进行评析,浅析造成翻译历程中译者所选用的文本和翻译对策不同的意识形态方面的理由,探讨在意识形态的制约下译本如何再现特定历史时期的文化内涵。然后再以诗学观角度对两译本进行评析,通过对词汇,句式和心理场景等层面的比较浅析,探究不同译本在主流诗学的制约下如何再现文学作品的文化作用。最后以赞助人角度对两译本进行评析,由于受到出版环境和赞助商个人喜好的影响,译者所选用的语言风格和翻译策略也各不相同,由此,在赞助人的制约下,译本再现了不同时期的文化背景。结语对全文作了总结,证明了操纵论述的有效性及其对翻译论述探讨的贡献。由于译本产生于不同年代,都分别受到不同意识形态、诗学和赞助人的影响,这种时代性也给人们带来了多元化的阅读体验,由此翻译是对不同历史时期文学作品的文化再现。关键词:操纵论述论文简·爱论文翻译论文比较探讨论文文化再现论文
