诗歌许渊冲“三美论”观照下黄杲炘诗歌翻译学

摘要:中国古典诗词英译的集大成者许渊冲,在自己丰富翻译实践基础上提出了“三美论”翻译论述。三美论认为,诗歌翻译要有节奏,押韵,顺口,好听,做到音美,还要在诗句长短和对称等方面做到大体整齐以实现形美,翻译可以不求意似但必须要传达原文深层次的意美。在重要量上,意美最重要,音美和形美依次次之。黄呆忻先后出版了多部英译汉作品并且这些译作颇为畅销颇有影响,黄呆炘的译作的特点是译文的字数和顿数和原文保持对应一致并特别注重再现原文的音韵特点。本论文首次以三美论探讨黄呆忻译作,以三美论的视角来探析黄呆忻译作在音美,形美和意美三方面的体现情况。在音美方面,以尾韵,头韵,行间韵,添加语气词,以“顿”代替“音步”,象声词和叠音在译作中的处理这几个角度进行浅析;在形美方面,以普通形状诗歌和几何形状诗歌两个角度进行观测;在意美方面以意境再现和风格再现上比较原文和译文。探讨结果表明,黄译在音形意三方面都很好地实现了原文的美感再现,尤其是音美再现得非常好,即便出现了“哦”字用法不当,也掩盖不了黄呆忻译文的音美,黄译复制了原诗的形状特点并再现了原诗的形美,而意美的再现虽稍稍有不足,但总体上意美也很好地实现了。也由此发现,黄呆忻的诗歌翻译很好地诠释了许渊冲的三美论。关键词:许渊冲论文三美论论文黄杲炘论文诗歌翻译论文
